Just got a new kobo Arc for Christmas- will probably be enjoyable at some point but now it is just endless frustration!  I am trying to download books from the public library and keep getting E_ADEPT_UNKNOWN (error code 2003)   what is this and what do I do?

The whole experience can be extreme irritating/challenging.  Usually worth it in the end ....

Just checking,

  1. Is that error message is coming up on the Kobo, or on ADE (Digital Editions) on a PC or Mac?
  2. If on the kobo, what app are you using? 
    Try installing the(free)  Bluefire app and see if that works better,
    quite a few people have problems authorizing both Aldiko and Overdrive which are the other most common apps.
