Error Code Code E_Act_Not_Ready

Hey everybody, I just installed Adobe Digital Editions at a new mac and got the following error message saying E_Act_Not_Ready, in other words I can't open ebooks that have already been in the same library just on another mac, does anybody know what it means? thanks!
