Error Dialog: This book has been returned. Loan not on record.

I keep getting this message on my Nook Glowlight despite having deleted deleted the book in question off the Nook and reloaded it.  Adobe Digital Editions (4.03) and the Maryland Digital Library both show that the book has not been returned.  Can anyone help me to figure out how to get the books properly loaded?

    I get the same message!  I can download 1 out of 5 books to Nook Glow.  Cannot find an answer on any website.  Local library was stumped also.  Very, very frustrated!!!
