Error E_ADEPT_HTTP_GET_NOT_SUPPORTED

Even after reading the 'use Bluefire reader' reply, the problem persists. I get this error message when I triy to open a acsm book I bought.Additionel info is a link: http://acs/pageplace.de/fulfillment/Fulfill. That results in an acsm  download that I cannot open. 

My problem is with ascm files - some 30 of them which I bought in Italy  I tried to re-download the book I wanted to open again, nothing. I tried to open it with bluefire reader on my tablet, nothing. I chatted with support and they changed some c++ files, but the problem persisted. Any suggestions? I want my books back. 

Windows 10, newest version of digitan editions, new laptop, separate accounts for Digital Editions and Adobe Creative Cloud (Lightroom).
