error: E-ADEPT-REQUEST_EXPIRED

Here is my situation. I have windows 10, live in Alberta, Canada (MST), have a library account with an e-mail address different from my Adobe account. I am currently in Dominican republic (EST) and get the error: E-ADEPT-REQUEST_EXPIRED. Previous agent sent me to Forums, but the suggestions I see there did not work. This morning I deleted the program, cleaned up adept registry and re-installed after restarting my laptop. This error appears when I try to add a borrowed book to adobe digital edition.
