Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_ACT_NOT_READY and activation server error code

I'm trying to download a book from a library onto a Nook. When I attempt to authorize the Nook I get "activation server error code." When I attempt to move the book to the Nook I get "error getting license. license server communication problem.
