Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_ACT_NOT_READY mac os X, account IS activated

This is extremely frustrating! Trying to get a library book onto a Nook and having no luck.  I dislike the Adobe approach of requiring a login to this site in order to search the forums.

There are multiple posts on this issue and NONE are answered.

My next e-reader will be another Kindle because of the difficulties Adobe E editions is causing.

Please address these questions Adobe staff.
