Error getting license. License server communication problem. E_ADEPT_DOCUMENT_OPEN-ERROR

I get this error message when I try to add an ACSM file to the Adobe Digital Editions library:  "Error getting license. License server communication problem. E_ADEPT_DOCUMENT_OPEN-ERROR."

I have no idea what this means.


How do I resolve this error so I can open my ebook?
