When I try to download a book from the library to ADE, I get the following error message: Error! Check Activation. Has anyone else experienced this and knows how to fix it?

    Start Digital Edition

    Press ctrl + shift + d (windows) or cmd + shift + d (macintosh).
    Accept that should deauthorize.

    Then go to help > authorize Computer and enter your logindata.
