Error message received: Check Activation

After downloading from Ontario Library downloads, when I go to my Adobe Digital Editions page, I receive the message "check activation", and then you must click OK.  My computer is authorized as is my KOBO Aura eReader.

I do not understand what the "check activation" is referring to?  how do I fix this?
