Error message: Unable to download. Error getting License

Hi, I used Adobe digital edition before and it worked just fine. But now I get following error message:

Unable to download

Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:

E_IO_CANNOT_OPEN

I uninstalled Adobe digital reader and installed it again. I deleted the folder for digital editions download. I deactivated the firewall. It doesn't make a difference. On another laptop it works just fine with the same Internet connection.

I just don't know what happened between the last time I used it and now. And I would really like to use it on my laptop again.

Does anyone have an idea how to solve the problem?
