Error when try to activate my Pocketbook 650 E-book reader

I followed the instructions for activating by opening the acsm file on my reader.

It starts with the activation window for entering the log in data.

After a while I get the Error message:

Aktivierung Fehlgeschlagen (E_STREAM_ERROR:CURLreturned 6(6))

Please help to fix the problem.
