Error when trying to activate digital editions: E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS

I get the error E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS when trying to activate digital editions on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 Android Tablet. I have already viewed the support page for this error, and it suggested contacting Adobe to have the activation count reset. I have contacted Adobe thru the support chat, and they could not help me. I need Adobe digital editions working, as I rely on this app for school. I have only used this app on the tablet, and have not authorized Adobe digital editions anywhere else.
