Footnotes issue

After following a footnote hyperlink, I cannot return to the original page. There is a back button at top right corner but it remains disabled. This is very inconvenient. Please help.

P.S. It has been this way since I have started using ADE (for some years now). Just to give you an idea how it should be, in html books when you are done with reading the footnote you click its number and this returns you back to the page from which you moved to the footnote.
