Getting Error Dialog: "This book has been returned. Loan not on record."

I am getting the error message when trying to open the book on my Nook. The book is still checked out by me and is on my "bookshelf" with my library and I do not get this message when opening up other books. I see that B&N has updated their software to version 1.4.3 Is this the reason?
