have difficulty changing the email address and you need help to resolve

I need to change my e-mail address (Account ID).

The form for doing this myself, is returning an error "Primary e-mail must have a valid value" and i have tripple checked that the newly entered e-mail is correct and valid.

The support chat could not help, and referred me to post the support case here.
