Having Problems using Digital Editions with MS Surface Pro & Windows 10?

Downloaded eBook does not open Surface Pro Windows 10. System goes into not responding, then I have to terminate the program.  However, the book does open in separate Desktop Windows 10 PC.   Anyone else having a similar problem or have a solution?
