Hebrew Language Problems in Digital Editions

Does Adobe Digital Editions have problems with the right presentation of Hebrew in general? I tried different solutions to fix the problem, but i guess it's maybe a problem with Digital Editions? Here's how it looks like:

I embedded the fonts (in this case Minion Pro). I tried it with encrypted fonts and also with decrypted. The hebrew passages have a html- and xhtml-tag with specifies the language (lang="he-IL", xml:lang="he-IL"). I tried some other weird stuff, but nothing helped. Does someone have any other idea/solution? I would be greatful! It would be also a relief to know that the problem comes from Digital Editions …
