Help

Purchased a new Mac. Apple transferred all my data from the old to the new.  I cannot open my e-books.  Contacted the vendor I purchased from. Among other things they had me delete the present Digital Editions and download a new to no avail.  They recommended I contact you.  What can I do to get to my books?
