HELP!!..I get an error when i try to set up authorization on my ADE..it says activaton server error..code :E_AUTH_NOT_READY...... digital edtions encountered an error on the activation server

HELP!!..I get an error when i try to set up authorization on my ADE..it says activaton server error..code :E_AUTH_NOT_READY...... digital edtions encountered an error on the activation server

I hope some one can help me authorise my adobe digital edition on my p.c.. I tried the help chat with adobe and they directed me here

    Start Digital Edition.
    Press ctrl + shift + d (windows) or cmd + shift + d (macintosh)

    then accept that should remove

    then go to help > authorize computer.
