help w/Adobe digital editions

My computer was recently updated and my access to my e book is not working anymore.

It is thru Adobe digital editions 4.5. the error message I am getting is the vendor I am using does not reconize my adobe ID. The vendor I am using is "Adobe ID" and I sign in with my adobe ID and password but it doesn't connect. Can anyone help me figure this out?
