Help with error received when loading library books please!

When I try to transfer an Overdrive e-book from Editions to my Kobo e-reader, I get the error message "CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED - No permission to copy the book". I have been checking out e-books for several years now, and recently this has happened with several new books. How do I fix this?
