Help with vendor login to read book.

Purchased a book from google play, and attempted to download it as a pdf. Instead the book has downloaded as a acsm file. I install adobe digital edition and signed in and authorized my pc, but now when I click on the book it is asking for vendor credentials and login info that I don't have. What are the solutions for this?
