How can I regain access to my eBooks? I now get message "Unexpected error E_10_cannot_open"

I have update Digital Editions 2 to 4.03 and now cannot open or download purchases. When I open Digital Editions I get "Unexpected error E_10_cannot_open". I have reauthorized but to no avail. Can anybody help me access my library and download recent purchases?
