How can I transfer the rights of a book from one account to another?

I have two books on an older Adobe account that I don't use anymore. Now that I have a new account with a different e-mail address, is there anyway to get those 2 books on the new account without buying them again? I can verify that both accounts are mine.

Not officially.  It would have been best just to keep the old account and not set up a new one.

Unofficially;

  • deauthorize ADE (crtl-shift-D, or cmd-shift.D on Mac),
  • reauthorize with your old ID
  • run epubee to strip the DRM on the books registered with the old ID
  • deauthorize ADE (crtl-shift-D, or cmd-shift.D on Mac),
  • reauthorize with your new ID

Unfortunately it happened because of the shift in e-books on Android when Play Books was created. My old books were thought Kobo on my phone (with a Yahoo email), and the new books had to be through my Gmail because of the nature of Google Play books. Now that I have an E-reader, I wanted to consolidate them. I'll give this a shot.
