How do I eject my Kobo E Reader from Digital Editions?

Just eject it from the operating system in the usual way. It will then disappear from Digital Editions.

eg for Windows use 'Safely Remove Hardware' or right click and eject on the mounted drive in Windows Explorer.

I'm sure there are very similar options on Mac, but not sure what they are.
