How do I read maps in a travel guide in ADR?

Is there a zoom function in ADR?  I am a new user and have just purchased a travel guide which contains maps (a Rough Guide).  The maps are virtually unreadable without a zoom function.  The ordinary text and photos are fine - it is the maps which are a problem;  they are too small to read.  Thanks.
