How do I setup my acrobat XI (or DC) which does not print the black text of pdf documents?

When I had acrobat X I could print anything

After downloading Reader XI, I still could print colour logos, boxes or lines, bit no black TEXT

Trying to print as a picture do it but the characters are greyish

html, or Word docs are perfectly printed

other pdf viewers do it well also.

My printer is a Canon 6350, with the last possible pilot

I tried to download the DC reader, it does not work either

What can I do to get Reader to work as it should?
