How do i use my existing Adobe ID to authorize the Bluefire Reader?

I have recently installed the Bluefire Reader and it requires me to 'create' an Adobe ID even though I have an existing ID. I created a new ID and now it still won't authorize my account and I think it's because the 2 e-mail addresses used don't match. Please advise.
