Question

How do I view a library book on multiple devices?

As the title says. I've checked out a library book that displays in Adobe Digital Editions. I can view it on my laptop, but my iPad generates an error saying it's in use by another user. I can't imagine why I shouldn't be able to use a time limited resource on more than one device. Any ideas?

Thank you.

Do has authorize the Laptop with a other Adobe ID as you iPad. If you used the same Adobe ID its should work.

Thanks for the reply. I tried to go back and authorize the laptop. (Books were originally checked out and opened without an ID.) Adobe politely notifies me that I cannot authorize a second computer using the same ID. (I am so NOT an Adobe fan, but I am forced to use this application. HELP!)

I do agree with you that it SHOULD work!

    1. Open Adobe Digital Editions.
    2. Press Ctrl+Shift+D (WIN) or CMD + Shift + d (MAC) to deauthorize Adobe Digital Editions.
    3. Select Erase Authorization.
    4. Click OK and quit Adobe Digital Editions.
