How to authorise Google Nexus 7 for Adobe DRM

.I have recently purchased a Google Nexus 7 tablet. I have installed Aldiko and now need to get the device authoirised, but it keeps rejecting my Adobe ID. I have checked my Adobe ID, I have checked the times settings on my Nexus, and I tried Adobe live chat, where it was clear that they were not about to waste time on this issue. One suggestion I've seen is that I should have an SD card installed but this tablet does not have an SD card slot. I am aware that there is a limit on how many devices can be activated; does anyone know what that limit is? Please can anyone offer solutions?

You could try installing the Bluefire reader instead of Aldiko and see if registers correctly.

(That just worked with the iPad I use.)

http://ebooks.continuumbooks.com/BookStore/templates/template1/continuum/help/en/DRM_Troubleshooting.htm

says you can download a book to up to 6 devices (including PCs).

It doesn't reference anything about registering more devices.
