How to authorise my Kobo ereader with Adobe ID?

I have downloaded a book purchased into my Kobo elibrary.  I can read it on the computer.  I then plugged in my Kobo ereader and transferred the book onto it but an error message appeared saying the document is protected by Adobe DRM and that it needs authorisation.  I have an Adobe ID but cant find where I actually authorise the thiing?????Please help

    This has happened to my wife's Kobo. It's been authorized for years but now it is not. When I plug it in I don't get a prompt to authorize it so she can't open any DRM books.I checked Settings/accounts and it tells me that it is not ADE authorized. My Kobo is fine.
