How to connect my computer tot Adobe Digital Editions

Hi,

I have created an Adobe ID and tried to get my computer and Kobo E-reader connected to it.

But all I get is the message:

U kunt de computer uitsluitend autoriseren met een adobe id dat nog niet is gebruikt voor de autorisatie van een computer of een mobiel apparaat. Probeer opnieuw.

However, I HAVE reset my password. And I do not get any further.

Any thoughts about what to do?

And to answer the question beforehand: this is a new Adobe Id, that I have not used used previously on another computer or e-reader.

Well.....I have asked this question on the forum, because the helpless desk employee I chatted with on the 7th of August, said this was the fastest way to get an answer.

The rotten thing is, that Adobe is the only application I know of, that can deal with DRM protected books, and all the e-books in the Netherlands are sold with DRM.

And my library now offers e-books that can be borrowed, a service I would really like to use.

Does anybody on this forum know about another way to get  DRM protected on my e-reader?
