how to delete books that have expired

Reading library books over the past 2yrs on my kobo reader I download them using ADE fine until last week when the library booted back deleted books from 2 weeks ago, I have un-installed/re-installed version 4.5 without success and even gone back to version 3 which still includes this problem, please can anyone help.  Thank you.
