How to enable the options under pdf view in adobe digital editions

The options under pdf view (under Reading tab) are grayed out while reading epub file. Need help to enable the pdf view options. I am using windows 10 and adobe digital editions version 4.5.6.

    This option only for PDFs not for ePubs.
