I am annoyed Technical Support cannot help. I need help, now

I have extreme difficulty with this issue. The technical support person refers to this forum. What Adobe do not know how to fix there own problems. The problem is I cannot find an answer to why Dreamweaver cs5 will not recognize any Web page file extension, for example .HTML, when I try to create a new site in the 'Manage Sites' function. These were files created by the same program. I need now. I want an Adobe Technical Support person to answer this question. It is there product. There product is functioning correctly. I thought Adobe was the best around. As far as I can see, it is a huge disappointment.
