I can authorize Adobe Digital Editions - Incorrect login ID or password error

Hi!

I'm trying to authorize Adobe Digital Editions to be able to borrow books from my local library (I'm in Italy so this is done through MLOL), but I get the following error when trying to log in with my Adobe ID and password:

Incorrect login ID or password for the selected eBook vendor. Please try again.

I know for a fact the Adobe ID and password I'm typing in are correct, and I have tried all the troubleshooting suggested by the articles (unistall and reinstall, deleting the activation.dat file from the Digil Editions folder, etc.).

Can someone help me please? 😧
