I can download adobe but library won't let me select digital editions

I have tried downloading version 3 and version 4. but it does not let me choose the digital editions to use with my kobo - if I dont get an answer soon i will use itunes and use my ipad

    I am  able to download adobe digital on my computer. But when I go to the library and borrow a book and download ePub. it won’t let me select adobe digital to put it into.  even when I do a ‘browse’ to find the program and I select it and hit open the icon does not appear not the open in the box of select program to download

    start Digital Edition

    go to file > add to library

    choose the ebook
