I can't add books to my library everytime I try to add a book to my library I get an error message saying "unable to download - license error"

I have had to download Digital Editions on my laptop as my computer is not working.  I have tried to connect my reader to digital editions but none of my other books show up and when I try and add new books to my library I get an error message saying "unable to download - error getting license".  Has anyone had this problem before?

    All you have to do is de-authorize your Adobe account and then activate it again. It's just a glitch.

    (CTRL + SHIFT + D ) --- to deactivate

    Then just go to Help - Authorize Computer to reactivate it.

    I am having the same problem. Except my says: Error getting license. E_ADEPT_ REQUEST_EXPIRED.
