I can't change the authorized email address on Digital Editions.

Can someone help me with how to change the authorization? This is not the original version of Digital Editions that came with my laptop - that version got corrupted but it didn't have an ID. The updated version I downloaded does but it's linked to an old, hacked email address I no longer use. My email address was changed by one of the technicians but the old address is still on Digital Editions. I can't download books that are Adobe as they only go into digital editions; the epubs go straight into Kobo without any problems.

    I having the exact same problem. An old unused email address shows up and asks for an old password (which I no longer remember) so I can't deauthorize it.

    Have you had any qnswers?
