I can't open Adobe Digital Editions 4.5

I was downloading a library book when the program froze.  Now it will not open.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstall but that has not worked.  When I try to open the program it says loading library.. but it is still frozen.

Help please

    hello , do you found an issue at your problem? i have the same mistake (windows is empty)

    Do you are used with OS?

    Has you try a older Version of Adobe Digital Edition?

    Can you open eBooks of other source? F.e. Sample eBook Library

    I am using Windows 10 and I have tried downloading adobe 3.0 but had exactly the same results.  The library only using ADE to borrow books from them.
