I Can't open books from overdrive

I don't seem to be able to open books from Overdrive.  when I transfer the book to my KOBO I get an error message saying that the book is protected by adobe digital rights management and is not currently authorized for use with my adobe ID. 

I have contacted both KOBO and overdrive support and have had no luck.

I have un-installed and re-installed adobe, un authorized and re authorized my computer and my kobo  and performed a factory reset on my kobo.

if anyone has any suggestions PLEASE... i just want to read my book!
