I can't remember how I first installed Digitial Editions, and now I can't find my DRM content

I installed Adobe DE, and clicked through some prompts and imported a bundle of 20 books that I had bought on Kobo.

I exited Adobe DE and then went back in later, and nothing is there. I do not know how I went through the prompts that first time. I've since managed to get back into DE with my Adobe account ID, but I do not have any of my books.

I've tried both logging in without an id and using my long-standing Adobe account. I've tried removing the PC authorization and going back in again. I've also tried using a different PC. I can't find my content anywhere. I can't reimport them (due to "license already fulfilled" message).

I'd love to re-do the whole thing from scratch. Anyway I can "un-fulfill" the license on my acsm files? Or can someone tell me how to figure out those licenses are attached to?
