I cannot get authorization for Glo

Hi, I have proceeded to the antipenultimate step and am now stopped. I have attached my Kobo Glo to the computer. It shows on the left panel of ADE V3. When I try to authorize it - I can't. The area in the authorization panel where I should name my device is greyed out. Help. How can I get ADE to recognize my device? Thank you.
