I cant read books on my new computer on Digital editions as the vendor ID is incorrect and the program will not let me change it

I cannot read my books on my new computer with digital editions as they need authorising. The vendor ID is incorrect but this is impossible to change. This is a reading program, not rocket science so it should be possible
