I do not get prompted to authorize my Nook

I have read several threads advising me to delete adobe reader through the device and through the terminal, all of which I have done successfully. However, when I relaunch Adobe I do not receive a prompt to authorize my Nook. I am really frustrated and I really want this to work. Is there anyone who can help me PLEASE?
