I have a Sony Reader and Digital Editions isn't recognizing it

I checked and my reader is a supported device.

I followed the directions I had, saying that I should plug in my device before opening the program.  I've done that multiple times, rebooted my computer and still no success.  I've only used this program once before and it worked.  But now, the second time is making me CRAZY!

Help!
