I have an Activation Server Error Code:E_ADEPT_INTERNAL on the ADE2.0 How do I get rid of the error?

I have a simple touch NOOK reader, & they did an automatic update today,which resulted in me having to use the Adobe Digital Edition 2.0 and now having the resulting error. I over 70 years old & would appreciate any help. Thank you
