I have forgotten my password to open my email (i no longer have access to that email) in order to authorise my new laptop to open my books. What do I do?

I still am able to read them on the old laptop but I do not know how to re download them to the new laptop as I cannot access my old email address. Is there any where on the ADE on the old laptop that would give me access to my old id or password?

Which e-mail system are you using? Can't you go to the website of the e-mail system and go to the log-on page there and click on the "forgotten password" button - there is bound to be one.
