I'm having a situation: I need to transfer my ebook ALONG with the notes

I'm having a situation: I need to transfer my ebook (ALONG with the notes I've taken on it) to another computer. When I do it, the notes do not show up. Can anyone tell me how can I transfer the notes and marks I've made as well?
